2009-10-15 My first fly....(1)

It is hardly to describe now nervous I was in the journey from Taipei to Newcastle. I was not familiar with airport system, although now it's still the same.

Whatever, It's impossible to prevent using plants as traveling tool, because I was going to England. Originally, I tried booking a bus ticket from my home town, Chiali, to Tao Yuen airport. A booking clerk told me that the advance booking was not afforded that day, so I went to Tao Yuen rail station by HIGH SPEED RAIL, and then took the transfer bus into airport.

You can understand how tied I was from this picture...... Cause by .......    Whatever, Lets forget it....

I tried to arrive airport earlier than the time of checking in, however, it was too early. When I arrived airport and went into the second terminal, it was around 2 pm. The only thing I know was I need to arrive 1 hours earlier than checking in time at least, but not the time they start checking in. Check in start at 5 o'clock, that means I need to kill my time as long as 3 hours. I started seeking places to have a lunch, or might be dinner, and a book to satisfy myself. Interestinglly, while I was walking east and west, I noticed there was something abnormal. A group of tourists, who seem came from Japan, were talking about me. Is anything on my face or is anything wrong with what I wore? I wondered. Yes, it was caused by the gift from Ji, an old friend I met when I was studying in senior school. it is a talisman ,that was produced in a temple in Kyoto, Japen. Maybe they thought I am also one of the visitors from their country.

Finally, I decided to have a "lunch-dinner" in Burger King. While I was finishing my food and suffering from the endless of waiting, I realized that Taiwan has a lot of visitors came from Japan, Korea and also China.

When the hour hand finally catched up the mark of five, I picked up my backpack and drew my luggage to the ckeck-in table. Things never happen in the way we predicted. The check-in staff warn me that there is a high possibility that England might refuse my entry as it is the first time I went to abroad and the time is as long as 6 months, there were a lot of similiar cases.  God.....  What a good news. The only thing I could do is sit and wait. Whatever, I have paid the tickets, I need ot give it a try. At least, I could say I finally get the chance to take an airplant and that was banned by our family before.

Yeah, I was sitting on an airplant.

Before this journey, I had checked about the information of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as it's the cheapest fly from Taiwan to England that day. There are lots of people have negative comments about this airline, such as that the seats are too small, terrible food and high risk of lossing luggage. I do not know if it was lucky or not, or maybe I am just easy to be satisfied, I did not feel it is too small and I did got my luggage when I arrived. Besides, I did like the food that were provided on the plant. Oh, Believe me that wine is great. The only problem is my broken English. Orz....  I was hardly understand what stewards said.

Thanks to this kind miss who helped me a lot. However, as what I said, things never be as good as what you imaged. She told me there were going to have a transit in BangKok and her destination was BangKok. In other words, I need to fine my way out. Originally, I thought it will arrive Amsterdam directly. Oh~~ My~~ God~~!!

It's BangKok airport. Where is the gate? (running~~)
